GLRI Balduck Park Planting

The Greening of Detroit will be planting 50 trees at Balduck Park for this GLRI Emerald Ash Borer replacement project.   We will need assistance from 75 volunteers to complete the first phase of this reforestation project.

Volunteers should meet at Balduck Park on Canyon Street between Chandler Park and E Warren Ave  in Detroit. You will see our Greening of Detroit Tent.  You can park on the street.  Car Pooling/Bikes are encouraged!

All tree plantings begin at 9AM unless otherwise noted. Volunteers should look for a Greening Of Detroit banner and welcome table. The Greening of Detroit will provide tools and plant material for all projects. Volunteers should bring gloves and a reusable water bottle.
