Join us at the “Sip and Taste Garden Stroll” at Lafayette Greens, our tranquil and beautiful urban garden located in the heart of downtown Detroit. This event will take place on Thursday, September 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Amidst fruit trees, blooming flowers, butterfly gardens and vegetables growing on the vine, up to 100 guests will taste delectable bites sourced locally and enhanced with fragrant herbs from the garden, enjoy sweet Michigan treats prepared by Soil 2 Service, and sip local wines by Sandhill Cranes Vineyard and signature cocktails . The stroll will also feature cooking demonstrations from local chefs showing off his/her culinary talents and share tips for those of us who have been inspired by the quarantine to acquire new cooking skills.

Lafayette Greens located at 132 W. Lafayette, at nearly a quarter-acre in size, allows sufficient outdoor space for social distancing. Masks or other face coverings will be required, and hand sanitizer and wash stations will be placed throughout the garden.
