Briggs Bar is back for their third year!! Year one had 4 runners, year two had 37. We are hoping for 75+ runners this year. Briggs is teaming up with us, The Greening of Detroit and Ruth Ellis Center. No need to be in great shape- it's a mile run through downtown, starting and ending at Briggs Detroit. It’s a one (1) mile run. You got this!!!

Meet up for drinks at 12 noon; the run starts at 2:00

NEW THIS YEAR- The Schvitz (www.schvitzdetroit.com) invites all runners over after the run for a unique steam experience at half-price. Get your special pass the day of after the run. Thanks, Paddy and the good folks at The Schvitz.

Who: You and your festive holiday friends who like to laugh.
What: No need to be in great shape- it's a mile run through downtown, starting and ending at Briggs Detroit.
When: Down some liquid encouragement** at 12; run at 2:00
Where: Starts at Briggs, then heads to Woodward to Campus Martius, on to Greektown and then back to Briggs.
Why: Why not? 
How: No entrance fee; no fuss. We are trying to help two charities this year- The Greening of Detroit (www.greeningofdetroit.com) and the Ruth Ellis Center (www.ruthelliscenter.org). There will be donation jars; give what you can to this two great local benevolent societies.

*it is the Santa Speedo Run, so live a little and put on something little. We trust that you can!!
