GLRI Balduck Park Planting

The Greening of Detroit will be planting 50 trees at Balduck Park for this GLRI Emerald Ash Borer replacement project.   We will need assistance from 100 volunteers to complete the third phase of this reforestation project.

Volunteers should meet at Balduck Park on Canyon Street between Chandler Park Drive and E Warren in Detroit at 9am. Look for The Greening of Detroit welcome tent. You can park on Canyon Street. 

All tree plantings begin at 9AM unless otherwise noted. Volunteers should look for a Greening Of Detroit banner and welcome table. The Greening of Detroit will provide tools and plant material for all projects. Volunteers should bring gloves and a reusable water bottle.
