Green Corps Crew Member

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Green Corps applicants must submit an online application, attend a try-out session and complete an interview. Corps members must attend the mandatory crew member training session at one of the local planting sites. Corps members are provided uniforms (3 shirts, hat, and gloves). Corps members are expected to be at The Greening of Detroit's EGS Park located at 1463 E. Jefferson at 8:00 a.m. each morning and their workday concludes at 3:30 p.m.

Projects include park maintenance, habitat restoration, neighborhood green space revitalization, maintaining trees and urban agriculture.

Hourly Wage: $15/HR

Timeline: July 2025 – August 2025

Receive soft skills training in conflict resolution, financial literacy, ACT/SAT prep, team building, work readiness and much more
Work outdoors and positively impact the environment
