Northwest Warrendale #1 Tree Planting

The Greening of Detroit has partnered with South East Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG) and the Detroit Water and Sewage Department (DWSD) for a large scale planting effort to plant trees on Warrendale local streets to assist with storm water infiltration in an area that experiences flooding. We will focus on Braile, Patton, and Fielding Streets at this event. We are looking for volunteers to plant 187 trees with us.  Volunteers should meet at the triangle shaped lot at Braile and Patton St.  Estimated address is 7250 Braile St, Detroit 48288     *Planting is from 9am-1pm*
