Your Students are Invited to Enter the 2012 Greening of Detroit Green Film Contest…
The Greening of Detroit invites students to celebrate the environment by competing in a Green Film Contest! The Greening of Detroit will select the best films to screen at the Greening the “D” Education Celebration on March 29, 2012.
Who? Any student, group of students or classrooms from Kindergarten through 12th grade in Detroit, Highland Park and Hamtramck is eligible to participate.
What? Show us how your school is going green!!!

Entry forms and original films must be received by February 8, 2012

Apply to the Greening of Detroit’s Community Planting Program!

Would you like to see more trees in your neighborhood? If you live in Detroit, Highland Park or Hamtramck and are currently involved with a community group, you are eligible to apply to our 2012 Community Planting Program.

 
We plant on public property, from small park and school plantings to large-scale street tree plantings. We are always looking to expand our planting sites and look forward to working with community partners, both new and returning.
